Belstone Cottage, c. 1880

Sleeps 6 | Bedrooms 3 | Bathrooms 1.5

Belstone Cottage, built c. 1880 is located in a quiet spot in one of Launceston’s most desirable residential streets, just moments away from the CBD. Owners & hosts Ecaterina and David Higgins warmly welcome you to their charming Victorian cottage, sympathetically renovated and lovingly curated with original Australian artworks, a blend of modern & antique furniture, family heirlooms, and stylish décor. The cottage has significant period detail throughout, with original windows and doors, three ornate fireplaces, high ceilings, polished timber floors, beautiful central staircase, detailed cornices and ceiling roses.

Three spacious bedrooms sleep up to six guests - two bedrooms with queen beds, and the third bedroom with twin king singles (which can be joined as a king bed upon request). All are fitted with luxurious pure linen bedding. For families with young children, a travel cot is also available. The main bathroom has a large bath and complimentary Australian-made Grown Alchemist organic products, for indulgent relaxation.

There are two living areas to relax in, a more formal lounge room at the front of the cottage, with stunning open fireplace and comfortable linen sofas to curl up on with a good book. And just off the fully-equipped modern kitchen is a spacious living area with TV and dining setting, leading to an undercover deck with uninterrupted sunset views - your own little private oasis! Enjoy a glass of wine & dinner here after a day exploring the city.

The kitchen is perfect for those who love to cook, with pantry staples and gourmet extras like Ashgrove Barista milk, Tasmanian honey, a range of T2 teas, and Tasmanian-roasted Colombian coffee. For guests who book two nights or more, you’ll also receive a welcome bottle of Tassie wine, plus local savoury & sweet treats.

So much more than a city hotel stay, Belstone Cottage offers bespoke, luxurious accommodation with a home-away-home-feel, and Launceston’s vibrant cafe culture, parks and the CBD right on your doorstep.
